Music Video Finale

Hello so my last project this year has come and it's a music video. My teammates include Katy,Kaile, and Christina. We chose the song Thriller by Michael Jackson are story is about this girl walking in the forest alone she was already scared because she was in the forest alone then she sees zombies. See becomes a zombie and then we get more zombies and do our own version of the thriller dance. In the music theres lyrics like "you try to scream" then we show a shot of Kaile screaming but Katy covers her mouth. Theres also lyrics like "You see a sight" then we show my zombie hand.

My favorite fast-edit montage would be when we out doing our thriller dance because we go through a lot of different shots of us dancing and lip syncing. We also get different colors effects and in each clip there's ether more or less amount of people in different zombies forest places. I think it was our best fast-edit montage because we all worked together on it and put all of ideas on it turned out really nice. We went through a lot of different shots too so it made it really cool and you are so many different things in
that short amount of time.

This final project showcases my best work because I get to use all of the skills I

learned this year in G.T. Me and my team also get along well so we were able to go and meet up each other and do makeup and costumes. Me and my team tried our best to make fast moving shots and not have a lot of long boring shots. Me and team also work really well together so we had a lot of fun. Me and my team tried to make this project our best quality work by adding every ones ideas and making sure nobody got left behind. By adding different effects. A strange way we also dos better acting is because we were doing some acting in Mrs.Brassington's class.

Animated Life Lessons

Hello again my new project is an animation that tells a story and lesson my teammates include Alex a quirky and crazy guy, then theirs Ashely she's a friendly and clumsy girl and then theirs me a shy girl who is actually very friendly and nice when you get to know her. In our animation a boy (Alex) is on a dark lonely planet he does not like it there and the all of a sudden he sees a bright happy planet where he sees Ashely and I playing around and having fun even tho Ashely is so clumsy she almost falls of the planet when were playing. He really wants to fly to the other planet so he makes wings ( that's what I meant when I said crazy) then he makes it to the other planet  and finds out that we don't like him and then he tells us that he just wants to be friends and that's when the friendly side of me comes out.

Me and my teams life lesson is to never judge a book by it's cover. In our animation we show this by having (Alex) see a bright and happy planet while he is on his dark and lonely planet. He decides that he wants to go there so he makes wings. After he is done making his wings he fly's to
 the happy planet. Now this is where are life lesson comes in. So Alex is on the bright and happy planet and then sees these girls and they start teasing him about his wings and how he is strange. His feeling are hurt and he walks away and then I ask him what he even wants to do. He says he just wants to hang out with people. Then the girls realize he isn't that strange after all.

So me and my team have never worked together before so we had a little bit of problems. The number one problem for me was the fact that I really did not know them so I was more shy than usually. Trust me when i'm around my friends I am very energetic and happy. So we didn't really have has much communication has we could have. I think that overall we did a good job sometimes one teammate wanted us in during recess and lunch and that was not always possible. Another thing about teams is that you had to have both genders and that you have to have 7th and 6th grade so we had two girls and one boy. We also had two girls Ashely and I. Then we had Alex our boy and Ashely our 7th grader
 

Character Development

Hello so here I am with another blog post in G.T. we are doing an animation of our selfs. So I'm gonna tell you what kind of person I am. So my friends like to call me a monkey because monkeys are curious and funny. They also call me monkey because monkeys are suppose to be smart. So because nobody's perfect I have some flaws one of my flaws is that in the morning I like to take a shower. Also in math I like to draw creatures or robots. A weird thing about me is that a lot of animals that I picked out and use to own or own have six toes. A special thing about me is that I'm a sea-aholic (I like the sea). I have to at least see the sea every day.

When I animate myself I plan to show my curious and funny side. My GIF should show me happy and I like to be happy. My story should explain how I am shy but I over come that shyness. A few other things I would like to show in my GIF is the excited me. I think to show all of this I would need to first when taking a picture of I wold need to look happy. Next I would have to think of a fun creative way to express my happiness (jumping) then I would have to make the jump look like I'm having lots of fun. Then make it so I can jump by going into my GIF folder and editing my self.

So the first step in my process of making a GIF I need to take pictures of myself and then I need to crop out the background. After that I take my cropped out picture and go into photoshop and make an animation. After that I duplicate the layers in the animation box and make it so each one has a slight difference so it looks like I'm walking on the screen. Then you make one more layer in the animation box and then make a layer copy in the main workspace. Then you turn it off on all the layers except for the last one (in the animation box). After that you turn off the original layer copy on the last one (animation box). Then you go to the drop down menu in edit and pick puppet warp and make your character become you. I like my GIF because I think it's cool that I made a picture of me move and become my puppet.

.MOV Film Festival

Hi everyone so has you know my last project is complete. So you know what that means it's time for a new project so are new project can be a movie trailer, animation, or sitcom. Me and my team think that we should do a sitcom so that's what we did. Me and my teams sitcom is about a couple of blondes and a brow haired girl. Well anyway a few words (keywords) that you could be thinking of when you watch my video are crazy, hilarious, accident, interesting, and expectation. These words could relate to you because when you watch are video you will start to crack up (hilarious). Were also just a few crazy blonds (crazy). We do a lot of things with out noticing (accident). You just want to see whats gonna happen next(interesting). You really have a lot of (expectation) on the blonds.

Okay so I told you about are new project but you really don't know really know that much about so here we go. My sitcom is about a blond (Alexis) who gets interviewed by (Katy). Then you go into Alexis thoughts which have a lot of scenes.Then goes back to the interview with Katy and Alexis. The most important part of this sitcom though is the question Katy asks Alexis."So what do you think are blonds dumb" Says Katy. In the end Alexis tells her blonds are NOT dumb they just like to have fun and that there are many smart people that are blond. So are over all message is just be yourself and it doesn't matter what other people think about you just be you.

 Me and my team really do hope are video inspires you.Nobody is perfect so obviously we had problems that we faced but were lucky that were problem solvers but the biggest problem we faced was getting the voice over (Foley) to match and line up has best has we could because we didn't want it to look fake. The scene that we needed voice over the most was the spy scene at the park. There was a lot of wind and there was people running which made a lot of noise. We had voice over(A-Roll) that was to long and visuals (B-Roll) that was to short. We ended up not using has much dramatic death has we thought we were but we ended really getting it to work and look pretty realistic. All we had to do was put a little thought into it. There was other parts were we didn't know if we should even do voice over or if it would mess up the whole thing if we did voice over in the park scene and then not do it in the other scene.

Tiny Spherical Worlds

Hey guys so here I am with another blog post. So what dose composite images mean well it means to add many different photos to make an image that exiles the limit a camera can offer which brings us to the start of are new blog post.Why do you need composite images why can't you just use one photo? Well you want everything you do to be at your best and composite images are a way to elevate your image. Another reason why is because it adds elements to your image. In are new project we will need to use composite images. Do you think you need composite images? I really think that it's a great way to bump up your project.

So in are new project were doing one a polar pano and second a spherical pano. You may ask whats the difference well in a polar pano you make it look like your looking down at a little world. If you look at a spherical pano it looks like you are in the planet. Another difference is that if you look at a spherical it looks like your looking into a crystal ball and if you look at a polar it looks like you looking right at the subject has if you were there. Polar is kinda like a birds eye view or a high angle and a spherical is like an ants eye view or a low angle. Also in a polar the sky is a big part of the picture and in a spherical theres a balance of both. I think its safe to say that there the completely different.

I think that my spherical and polar pano are convincing is that to me it really look like a tiny world and like a snow globe if you add effects. Also I put a lot of hard work into making my tiny world. A big reason I think that my tiny world is convincing is because my horizon line is nice and straight. I really wanted to make sure nothing was sticking out for example a tree sticking out into space. Another reason is because I wont have a tree that turns into a bush or a bush thats growing stairs out of it. A huge reason my tiny world looks real is because it wasn't takin indoors it was takin outside. I also took my pictures vertical not horizontal.

Hockney Style Joiners

Hi everyone are you ready for another blog post because i'm ready. In my G.T class we are working on a photomontages. To me my photomontage is different then David Hockney's because my photomontage is meaningful to me. Some of David Hockney's are important and meaningful and some are photos of chairs or rotten apples which might not be as meaningful. Also David Hockney's more experienced than me so he knows how to do photomontages very well. He also did not use a computer on some photomontages but I did. I think that there are many things different and there are some things that are the same.

So you might know that many people don't use the internet wisely while others do. So lets say you take a picture of you huge house or your new clothes and put a caption saying I bet my house is bigger and better than mine or bet you don't have these clothes yet. Which would could make some people feel bad or feel like there life isn't good enough. On the other hand some people take pictures of the beach or of a someone recycling which might make other people want to go to the beach or start recycling which would help the world become a place. Over all it's best to post good pictures that make people feel good and could help the world. Oh and if you look to your right you can see my photomontage of Katy.

My photomontage is something you would see in your every day life...Yep you guessed it a TREE. It's not just a regular tree it's a flower tree. There's many reason why I used a tree and the first reason is because a flower is just like a person for example at first it's just a blossom waiting to become a flower then it might start to look different and then it might start getting older and wrinkled and then it falls of the tree. Another reason is because trees or why we have air around us and if we don't have trees then we can't breath so everyone should take care of the trees. To me a tree represents me because each tree has different purpose for example a fruit tree is was made to give fruit a flower tree was made to look pretty and other trees are made for air or paper. Also each tree looks different some have a lot of leaves so have barley any some have red bark some have colorful bark and ext...and that's what I hope people see in my photomontage. 

2016 Aspirations

Hi everyone this weeks blog post is about my goals for 2016. I have many goals for 2016 but the 5 main goals would be. One teach my dogs how to fetch because they know how to do a lot of tricks just not fetching. Other one would be to learn how to do my front hip circle in gymnastics. Its a move that you use on bars and it's the only move I need on bars. My third one would be to try new foods from around the world because I hear many people talking about foods from around the world and some sound gross and some sound really good. My fourth goal would be to learn how to do a back bend on the balance beam because it's something me and my friends all want to do.
My last goal would be to learn how to become a better painter because I'm not good at painting so I would really like to learn how.

Out of all the goals I said the number one goal would be to learn how to my front hip circle on bars. The reason why this is so important to me is because if I get my front hip circle I will be ready to compete for Kauai gymnasts. This move is the one move I need to complete my gymnastics bar routine. If I get this move my whole bar routine will be a lot easier and I know I will be ready to compete and that would be kinda like doing two goals. You might be a little confused of what a front hip circle is so I will explain a front hip circle. Its a mix of body motions on bar such has candle stick, and plank, etc. Then you have to go forward and stay in the bar it sounds easy but trust me it's not                                                            

Im gonna get this skill because I'm gonna focus in gymnastics. I will also learn all of the different positions which will really help me improve. I will also practice more on bars instead of my backflips so I can be more focused on getting my front hip circle I can't wait to get this skill.
Another way I could get it is by practicing it at home because I got a gymnastics bar I really think I will get my front hip circle. This year will really be amazing if I get my front hip circle!
